Rule Number Six

Rule Number Six

This Stakes winning compact little powerhouse has an unassuming exterior but a huge heart! He has quite a lot of opinions and isn’t afraid to express them! He requires extra, educated care due to extreme bug allergies and some progressive arthritis. As the years pass his need for supplements and additional care will continue to increase as we support the best possible retirement for him.

Sanskrit

Sanskrit

This gentleman is extremely well bred, beautifully built and incredibly kind. He is easy to be around and adores attention. He is a bit of a delicate flower requiring extra care for very sensitive skin and additional nutritional support to maintain his weight and condition. Additionally, Sanskrit entered the program with an apparent vascular abnormality. While he is healthy and happy in his life at FL TRAC, it limits his ability to be ridden and thus likely to find an adoptive home.

Saylor Moon Shine

Saylor Moon Shine

This young mare is an absolute stunner to look it. She retired prior to making a start and despite plenty of rehabilitation time, may never reach a level of soundness for riding. Additionally, she is fractious and difficult to handle requiring special care and handling accommodations. She is making incremental progress in soundness of both body and mind but will likely require extensive time and training within the program to progress to the point of having strong potential of finding a suitable adoptive home.

Texas Billy Boy

Texas Billy Boy

This sweet boy made 22 starts over 5 years while finding himself in the winner’s circle just once, although we feel the second win came when he found his way to FL TRAC! He is a non-sweater, cribber and a bit high maintenance but none the less is immensely loved! His limitations require extra care, attention and nutritional support, especially in the summer time.

Bet on Joe

Bet on Joe

This gentleman was a talented racehorse, running at many of the top racetracks around the country all while hitting the board 25 out of his 40 starts, earning just under $275K. He is a true character with a youthful spirit which refuses to accept that the years have taken their toll. Joe now requires daily joint supplements and occasional veterinary care to maintain his arthritic wear and tear and promote his mobility and quality of life on the farm. With your help, he plans to continue to show his senior turn-out pals who the champ is for years to come!

Cover Price

Cover Price

This incredibly handsome boy left quite a legacy at the track. A winner of 13 races over a 6 year career, he earned over $200K and hit the board in 42 of his 78 starts. His immensely competitive nature that likely fueled his racing success has proven a challenge in his retirement. Cover Price is a hard keeper and cribber. He can be sensitive to our Florida heat and has delicate skin. He has arthritis that we help him manage to assure he has the best years of retirement. He is quite deserving of all that is required in extra care, feed and attention to maintain his weight, health and happiness.

Perfectly Crazy

Perfectly Crazy

This absolutely stunning beautifully bred gelding is total eye candy but unfortunately, despite his young age, will be unable to have a second career for riding. He is pasture sound, intelligent, easy to handle and absolutely loves people and attention. He is aggressive by nature with other horses and due to this poses limitations and is a challenge to manage. He requires special accommodations and extra human attention to meet his needs and maintain his quality of life. He would benefit greatly from a joint supplement to support his arthritic changes.

Regal Bear

Regal Bear

This incredibly handsome and beautifully built fellow is a Stakes placed, allowance winner. He is charismatic and full of spunk but has an extremely nervous personality making him a hard keeper who requires extra feed and handling accommodations. Due to wear, tear and his advancing age, he now requires daily anti-inflammatory medication for his osteoarthritis to enjoy his turnout time in a small field with his girlfriend!
